About Us
We are Canadian Eventers. Two horse-loving Canadians chasing a dream.
Lauryn and Dakota, along with their moms, launched Canadian Eventers so the girls could help contribute toward their eventing pursuits. All profits from sales go toward their dreams of a living their lives on horseback.
Dakota lives in Langley, BC Canada and is a C1 member of Pony Club and has competed as high as Training level with her 15.1HH chestnut mare Take it Easy, also known as Lilly.
Lauryn lives in Surrey, BC Canada and is a C1 member of Pony Club and has competed as high as Pre-Training level with her 14HH pony Without A Doubt, also known as Willow.
Meet Dakota McGill
Hi I’m Dakota and this is a picture of Lilly and I competing in our first Training Level event in August of 2020.
I was a born rider. My mom placed me on my first pony when I was days old! We always had horses in our lives so my love for them came by naturally. I was born in New Zealand and hope to one day compete for either Canada or NZ. I have been fortunate enough to learn to ride all sizes of ponies and now horses. Pony Club has been a huge part of my education in horsemanship and riding. Eventing is my passion, I love galloping cross country. This year I made the jump up to Training level eventing and it was the highlight of my life. I have just gotten a new OTTB that I hope to develop into my next eventing partner to take me up to Young Riders!
Meet Lauryn Cartier
Hi! I’m Lauryn. This picture is of my BFF, Willow, and I competing in a pre-training level event in August 2020.
I grew up on my Grandpa’s acreage in Surrey, BC with a couple Standardbreds in my backyard. My love for horses was immediate. And I’ve been lucky enough to have a supportive family who encouraged me to pursue this interest. I’ve been very fortunate to have a few ponies that have taken good care of me and taught me how to take good care of them. It was the best day of my life, when my family got me Willow. Willow has taken me from a beginner rider all the way to being a successful jumper and eventer. I’ve been in Pony Club for five years now and love all the opportunities it has given to me.
I’m now looking for my next eventing partner as I’ve sadly outgrown Willow.

Our Designs
We launched our line in spring of 2020. What a year to start a business! We are starting small and focused on two products but have plans to add more items as the popularity grows. Let us know what you’d like to see.
